A pop culture term for the appearance of strange events that may reveal that reality may actually be a type of simulation. This concept was once proposed by Phillip K. Dick and was subsequently explored in the movie The Matrix, then written about in Children Of The Matrix by David Icke. Scientists believe there is evidence to support such a theory. Paranormal activity can be attributed to moments when the simulation breaks down briefly. May also be tied to the Mandela Effect, Divergent Reality and a variety of other strange events.
